TENDAI MTAWARIRA
Having evolved from local crowd favourite to a South African hero, this Zimbabwean-born front row prop, who started his career at flank, has grown into iconic status at the Sharks and Springboks and has matured, despite his young age, into a strong scrummager, big tackler and powerful ball-carrier.
He is one of the local success stories, having come through the ranks of Sharks Academy, age group rugby and finally making it as a regular in the Sharks squad.
